Too bad I have to spend all of it working on art history, reading to the end of a Russian romance novel, and doing the dreaded SAT work.

BUT 3.5 DAYS OFF HEEEEEEEEEEEE

also I saw a mailman today. And I had the mail delivered today. It was quite shocking.

Having someone find a mailman to be a novelty is very amusing to me -- since my cousin works in the field, so I've not only come to know it's every nook and cranny, I also have to put up with daily rants as to why the (Romanian) mail system is majorly fucked up. XD

Normally, this would be entirely unsurprising and perfectly normal, except for the past...what, month? The Royal Mail has been on strike, and I've only gotten the mail maybe three or four times, thanks to a bunch of emergency workers they brought in.

But yeah. Very little mail has been getting delivered here for a while. Seeing mailmen is like "whoaaaaa retro."

Ahaha, I see! This sounds eerily similar to our own situation -- we've got just about everyone and their grandmother in the public sector threatening with a massive strike in December (including the Bucharest underground train, which will royally fuck things up here, given that around half of the city's roughly 2 million residents use it daily)

Ahhhhh, I see~! Well, the London Underground workers go on strike every two months or so. It's almost expected nowadays, but it kinda sucks for me during rush hour. XD
