This Thursday is Thanksgiving and time to think about all our blessings and to be thankful for them. Having just lost my precious father, I have to admit this holiday season is going to be tough. He really enjoyed this time of the season and made it a blast while growing up. Watching the Dallas Cowboys play on Thursdays has been a tradition in ( Read more... )

We haven't known each other very long but I'm sorry to hear about your father. LJ is a wonderful place to meet new people and I look forward to knowing you better/being your friend for as long as I prove, well, interesting or useful. Whichever. I hope you keep me, lol.

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving where I'm from/where I live but I kind of wish we did. People often forget to be thankful of the little things. Anyway: welcome to LJ. And I hope you enjoy it here. Happy Thanksgiving! ♥

**Hugs** to you! I know my mother's country doesn't have Thanksgiving either. It's always been me, my mother, and father (pretty small family!) and we stuck together and I was/am so grateful to have had that growing up and living in various places (military family)!

I plan on keeping you around and being your friend! I look forward to building our relationhship! I love your stories! **skips with joy!** :D

I'm also sorry to hear about your father. I know how it feels to lose a person you love. My grandmother died 2 moths ago. But don't be afraid. Your father will always be with you and take care of you.

Happy Thanksgiving :D

*hugs*

Thank you, sweetie! I am sorry to hear about your grandmother. I was close to my grandmother, too, and it hurt when I lost her. You're a sweetheart! Many blessings to you!:D

We don't have Thanksgiving over here either!

And I know exactly what you mean about your Dad, my Mum died nearly 11 years ago.

*hugs* Remember the good times, and like you say, be thankful for the family we do have.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving m'dear:)

**Hugs you tight!** No matter how many years it's been, you never forget the ones we love! I think that is God's way of helping us through pain-giving us memories to carry on. Blessings to you and your family, sweetie! :D
