MJ fans not happy with NHK's plans

It was reported yesterday that Japan's annual end of the year program, Kouhaku, will have a memorial segment for artists who passed away this year. As one would probably expect, they will be including a Michael Jackson tribute

Everyone isn't ever going to accept an MJ tribute unless a Jackson does it. Ppl are always gonna find something to complain about other wise.

I'd bet money on "So bad that it's good." Though when you said "MJ" at first, I'm ashamed I assumed "MatsuJun." *hangs head*

I'd prefer no one. I mean, SMAP? They can't siiiiing! D: Sure, they're big fans, but so is every other Japanese citizen.

I think SMAP doing the tribute is really great. Are they the best dancers? no, are they the best singers? no, but they are big fans and they'll put their hearts into it because it's important to them.

It's like the Freddy Mercury tributes. No one can compare to his power vocals, but in the end, I don't think anyone actually tries? that's why it's a tribute, not a copy.

There's no one can replace MJ himself. But, for doing tribute, it's better going to the big fans. They'll try not to upset both fans (their fans n MJ's fans)
