Life is moving on

 Things are going on about the same as before.  Nothing exciting, well except we had to put our dog down.  I feel guilty for having to make the choice, but I think it was time.  She was in either liver failure or heart failure we did not do the blood work because in the end it did not matter. She was not well and I did not want to see her suffer

Don't feel bad that some things are easier without her around; you didn't put her down for convenience, but to end her suffering.

My girls were four when we lost my last cat last May, and E was not yet two, but they all remember him, and talk about him. Heck, they draw him pictures, and put them upside down on the wall so he can see them from heaven.

Sorry for your loss. Enjoy your summer. The two are not mutually exclusive.
