Well.

That was...exactly as the note described. I must say I am quite pleased with the results. Apologies to whomever was the unwitting recipient of a curse at my expense.

Elisabeth, are you at home? May I call upon you? Or have you indeed received your wish as well?

So what were the results? What was worth cursing someone?

The results were as the note described. I am pleasantly surprised to discover our "Deities" have been so straightforward.

As to the question of "was it worth it?", I would have to say for me, yes. I am sure the recipient of the curse would disagree, as I would had I become a recipient before I had the chance to use my box.

But, I would not expect others to refrain from using their gift out of concern for me. Had I been cursed instead, I do not believe I would have been upset at other citizens for using their boxes as intended. We are all cursed simply by being here, and pressing a button or not does not change that simple fact. Regardless of who presses a button, it is the "Deities" who inflict all the curses, in the end, is it not?
