No way... Tod and Elisabeth would love this.

Unfortunately we can't return home by choice. Maybe you ought to read this before asking more.

Oh, this is rich.

I fear you'll be disappointed there, Emperor.

There is no way out, or at least none one can control. You're trapped in the City with us now. Do feel free to get comfortable, you're here to stay.

Then again, it is nice to talk to someone who can understand me without the translating device...

So I have gathered. Perhaps I shall stay for a long time, perhaps not. I do trust that whoever has seen fit to bring me here has enough understanding of governance to realize that a country cannot be without its leader for extended periods of time and see fit to return me sooner rather than later.

King of Hungary, huh? Is it hard, running a country inhabited by hungry people?

At the moment, we are fortunate enough to not be in a famine. Nor are we experiencing any shortages of milk, so I do not understand why you would assume my people are starving.

You're stuck here until this place decides that it's your time to leave.

So I have understood from several people now. I only pray the powers that be decide my time to leave is sooner rather than later. There is quite a lot to be getting on with at home.

No? Perhaps not, but that has little bearing on the state of affairs. There is much to be done at home, and my continued presence here prevents me from doing it. Even if, as it has been explained, the world seems to stop whilst I am here, I am aware of the passage of time, and the moments I am here and not involved in the running of my countries seem as if they are wasted. I am not one who enjoys idle frivolities. I would far prefer to get back to my duties.
