It is hard to imagine that, for many who read this journal, our first encounter came somewhere around 8 years ago. As a spectacled, perhaps nerdy, but surely newly minted member of the net community, I set out to find those of like mind and like interest. Mostly, but I enjoyed your company anyway ;) (Remember: I was sorted into Slytherin, even though my RPG character always came out sounding like a hard core Gryffindor)

Well played, dear chap! I must agree with you that this series will possibly forever be my most loved, and there really is no better way to phrase it.

Even though further generations might love the books, it will always be different for us - us who waited year after year for the next installment, discussing with others before anyone in the whole world other than one person knew what was going to happen next. The whole phenomenon is something I'll forever cherish!

Glad you agree ;) And I totally feel you on the generation thing. Even my kids won't fully appreciate what Harry Potter was.
