dude, metric is amazing. the lady's voice ist wunderbar. she has a really good song with chemical brothers too, called come back clean.

Well you know, 4th of July. Told them a legit story, but because they're assholes nothing short of the apocalypse would be good enough reason to miss work. And even then I'm pretty sure they would say the same thing they told me: "Vat? Ze Apocalypse! You call us tventy-four hourzz beforehand! You must warn us! So irresponsible!"

At below minimum wage it's not really worth the trouble. I just got my driving record amended so perhaps a courier job with an American boss would be better.

The owners are Indian (dot, not feather), and of course every single person who works there is also Indian and they all know each other, so when other people come into work an hour late or whatnot, "eeez okay if they not here you work extra hours until dey come".

Hahahaha.
God I love to complain.
