I just had a very unusual conversation with someone I haven't heard from in 4 years. It almost feels like a sign or omen, but I'm unclear exactly on what it means. Little things have been standing out recently, like there's some sort of message I'm supposed to be picking up on. Or maybe I just need more sleep and/or a trip to a head-shrinker.

I'm finally resolved in what I'm going to do with my life, at least on a semi-not-short-not-long term. I even came up with a complete plan of action, which I've never made for anything I've ever done before. The only thing I need to work out is some realistic deadlines to get shit done by. Now if only I can get up off my lazy ass to get started.

I want to say stuff here, but I don't have much to say. Most of the stuff that concerns me right now is either everyday bullshit, speculative bullshit on my part, or unconfirmed rumors from others. In an effort not to bore people or get myself in trouble, I am effectively mute ( Read more... )

So, Christmas is over, and the extended family has come and gone, lacking sanity as usual. Here's to hoping I'll see 'em all again in a year. Fabulous food was had, and leftovers are available for at least a few more days worth of meals. Gifts for most of the family were as predictable as usual.
