I have to say there is nothing worse than living with someone that is so obsessed with just one genre of music that they think anything else outside of the genre sucks. Not only are they into just one genre of music, but the particular genre from just one decade. When you live with someone who is a music freak but the extent of their music taste

I can completely understand your frustration with not having anyone out there that you can hang out with outside of your living situation. I have honestly been feeling like that here, hence one of the reasons I'm moving back to baltimore and transferred to a store there. I really wish we had more time to hang out when you were here but our schedules were poo. It really makes it difficult when someone who lives in the same residence you do, isn't willing to compromise on any level and resolve a conflict. Its probably better that you left and went somewhere to calm down. Hopefully your sister can talk to him and maybe urge him to settle things in an adult manner.

I'm sorry you are having issues out there and I hope things get better you.

I don't really understand it, because now it's the next day and the fact that I am forced to work with this person makes things even more uncomfortable because we basically haven't said a word to each other. This was all because of this simple situation that could have been resolved in 10 minutes and over something I was able to solve on my own.

god. that is reeeeally frustrating.
i work with a kid like that. i barely mention something and he'll say, "they suck."
anyone who behaves that way is being a kid, cus only lame immaturity could account for why they would be so close minded and egocentric.
in my case i at first thought this kid was just being elitest, but then after someone played a mix cd over the whole store consisting of things like bowie, queen, the clash, and the violent femmes and he still said. "this suuucks."
i decided, hmmm this kid just doesn't have any respect. he just doesn't KNOW any better.

Yeah I don't know, there is certain things I don't tolerate. It's like...if you're going to commit to helping me with a project then stick to it. He did this to me before over doing some hard labor yard work and stormed off and left me to do it myself. It's like..dude...be a fucking man for once. I feel like he has used this as some excuse to get out of doing some real work.
