I've decided to cut these entries to save on the Friends view of some of you who may have lots of entries to fish through. I don't have that many friends, so it doesn't bother me if entries are cut or not - but some of you have oodles of them and it isn't fair if you want to skip reading these. And, by all means, you're welcome to do so.

So far, my Physical Geology class is a lot better than I had expected it to be. The teacher is soooo gay. He reminds me of Chad, but a bit older. Not all of us can be as young and fabulous as Chad. Right now, I'm stuck in a chair on my laptop because this ghetto beyotch is taking up three desks with various crap that could seriously be consolidated into one. It's pewp. I went to the bookstore this morning and was accused of being a racist, again. You guys know me - I'm the farthest thing from having any kind of racial bias. What happened was this: I was waiting to go into the book store. Originally, there were two people in line, and I was the second one. As the time for the bookstore to open drew nearer, more people gathered. Two girls, who happened to be black (but above all, rude) cut in front of me. I said, "Excuse me, but I've been waiting here for a half an hour. You need to wait in line, like everyone else." The woman who was standing in line before me had let two people (again, who happened to be black) cut in front of her without saying anything. I was getting annoyed by this blatent display of rudeness.

The girl looked at me, allowed some gas to escape her body in what she would describe as a sigh, and rolled her eyes at me. She turned around and said to her friend, "Some white bitches don't got to take the bus so they get here before us. Must be nice." I groaned, and spoke up again and said, "That's not my problem that you don't have a car. You still need to wait in line, like everyone else. Me being white has nothing to do with it." And then SHE says, "Oh, so you bringing race into this? Another bitch think she so tight --" yadda, yadda. She got in my face. I didn't say anything to provoke her, I simply repeated what she said. So next thing I know, I'm going to get my ass beat, supposedly. I let her say her peace, and then reminded her yet again that the line was getting longer. She turned around and her friend 'held her back', telling me she was "from the ghetto and you don't fuck with that" and that I needed to back to Wonderbread World.

I love the originality. By that time, the doors had opened and they tried to walk in - but lo and behold, they couldn't read the sign that said "NO BAGS ALLOWED" in large, bright red lettering across the door. She tried to tell the security officer (pretty ridiculous when we need them to stop fights) that he was triflin' over her bags and she wasn't going to steal 'nothing'. Again, she said she was being profiled. A big word she must have heard while reading a book, I'm sure. Uneducated bitch.

I can't wait for this shit to end. I hate to say that I'm 'above' anything, but I am seriously above being accused of being a racist each semester. At least last semester it took a while, and I got jacked up for running my mouth. (For those of you who don't know the story, I'll give the abridged version: A girl would not move out of the way and I asked her to "Please excuse me". I guess that my tone was snotty? Because the next thing I know, I was told that I needed to adjust my tone. I got lippy and said, "Do they bus you kids in just to stand in the hallways and pick fights?" and got called a load of names -- one of which was Honkey. I mean, I didn't know they still used that word. I laughed when I heard it, which pissed her off even more. I got shoved into the wall before a teacher came and I didn't raise a fist or say another word. Naturally, the occurance was ignored. I'm sorry, but if I had said "nigger", I'd have had my ass beat. It's a bullshit double-standard and I hate it. Reminder of Britney Jarvis from ENG101.)

I want to do better and that's why I am in college - but all of these angry ghetto children want to be nurses and think that it's owed to them. You know what burned my as today? A big ass sign that said "Portable DVD players can be purchased with your financial aid" I do not get any aid. But they will over-pay those who don't really need it that badly and let them buy shit that has nothing to do with school. MP3 players and DVD players will not help you better yourself. Candy and soda does not help your mind function at its personal best. It's so fuckin' frustrating. I give serious props to those that do come from the ghetto and work hard. They are few and far in between at MCC, however.

I'm so tired. Working two jobs is going to kill me this semester, but I can't refute that it will be SO good for my job placement at NTID when I have a Sign Skills Coach on my resume. I do interpreting at work, but it's not going to count as real hands-on expirience because it's not technically part of my job function. Fuck, man. I just want to get the next two years of my life over with so I can work a normal job and make good money. That's why I'm doing this - for the ultimate goodness of my life. The lotto wasn't working out - I kept NOT winning. What's up with THAT?

For all us college kids out there - hang in there. We rock hard tasty abs, and will be so awesome in life. Things may get tough, and sad sometimes, but we are going to make it. I am proud of what I am doing with my life (yanno, except for being a 'racist') and you all should be too.
