I'm Alive!

*looks about sheepishly and waves*

Hey guys, I know that I've been gone a really long time from here, but I'm still alive! Sorry about the absence, I've got no real excuse only that I did what I really tried not to do and not only got swallowed up by watching and reading fic in the Supernatural fandom, but also by writing fic for a totally new ( Read more... )

^__^ *waves* Hey there!! I'm psyched to hear you're writing original again--I'm trying to gear up for this year's Nano too! We should egg each other on! And oooh, what's your new fandom? And I didn't know you were writing Supernatural fic...need finish catching up in that series so I can read stuff.

I've been letting original fic *and* fanfic go this past year, so I'm really out of the writing game at this point. I'm hoping this Nano will fix that. Are you submitting your short story to a magazine? Good luck! :)

Really, good for you! What are you going to write about this year? I'm going with what I'd intended last year before I was plot napped by the fic that won't end.

Where are you with SPN?

I'm trying to make a rapid decision between two plot bunnies that have been poking me (one is an urban fantasy about native american gods, the other is an offbeat fantasy about mixing demons and love potions), or just going with the story I tried to do last year (animal adventure story). Mostly I'm figuring out which story idea is developed enough that I won't flail and burn in the middle of Nano like I do every year. ^_^;;

And I'm still stuck in the middle of season 5, lol. Lost my dvds for like 6 months, just found them. probably should just torrent the rest of the series so I have it on hand.

How has the editing been going by the way? I think I remember you doing one of the Nano-edit-month things? I loved some of the ideas you've told me about working on before, I want to see published novels out of you someday!

Ooo, both sound great, I wish you luck with which ever one you decide to go with.

Ouch, well remember that it goes downhill a bit towards the end, but you've still got to meet my favorite horseman, he's awesome!

Oh that's in March, NaNoEdMo.

I wish I could say that I know what you mean with the latter but I can't.

I wish you the best of luck with the job hunt, that's not so easy just now.
