too bad cheney feels the need to support bush on this issue, considering how strongly he seems to feel about it.

but given his position, i'd say what he did was quite possibly the strongest thing he could do on the issue without basically jeopardizing or harming his entire political career. it's certainly understandable, and even if we wanted to fault him for not coming out even more strongly in support of the issue, the point still stands that cheney isn't as evil as we all thought, and there's still hope.
