Does any of you squares know where to get a joint around here?

Ahhh tuesday night parties. So much fun during them, and then so crappy on wednesday morning. But, I'm very proud to say, I woke up when I was supposed (well, almost), and went to class. During a discussion about democracy, we had a vote, because Denmark is holding elections soon. The winner was also the party I voted for - Endhedslisten. They are ( Read more... )

Well, the official parties are the Social Democrats, Venstre (means "left" but they are in the centre-right of danish politics and are currently the majority party), Det Konservative Folkeparti (the conservative people's party), Socialistisk Folkeparti (socialist people's party), Dansk Folkeparti (very xenophobic and racist!), Centrum-Demokraterne (central-democracts), Den Radikale Venstre (the radical left), Enhedslisten (doesn't translate to anything, but they are the "red-green" alliance), Kristendemokraterne (christian democrats), and Fremskridtspartiet (progress party).

When they have elections, they tend to have other "coalitions" and interest groups form as well.

Me personally, I'm all for Enhedslisten. I disagree with them on some points... but overall, I think they are the best.
