The title of episode 39 contains a character name. (I'm guessing Meer or Lacus?)
In episode 36, it is Meer that the hand is held out to. However, Meer declares, "I am Lacus ... Lacus!" and she refuses. Though for a moment, Meer's real face emerges. Athrun gets on a Gouf to escape. Athrun escapes with Meyrin.
This is why I'm so frustrated with Athrun. He's just too trusting of all the wrong people. He hasn't learned a thing - even when he's already in the middle of a bad situation that happened precisely because he trusted the wrong person. Lucky for us Meer decides to be crazy and more interesting. Assuming all this is true, of course.
Hello, I wandered in here via asucaga, and just wanted to comment on how, in this post, you put into words every single thing I've wanted to say about AsuCaga and what will happen to the pairing, eventually, in Destiny. I also skimmed through the discussions in your other posts (sorry) and was enlightened a couple of times, so I was wondering if it's all right to add your LJ to my flist? I just want to keep myself updated on GSD, never mind how frustrating the series gets most of the time, and because I'm always happy to run into a fellow AsuCaga fan. ^___^;
