And people were beginning to say, "Oh, it's just a joke, I'm sure it's just a joke, check the calendar" so I made up the biggest plausible whopper I could. We did it to retain mods. Mods were leaving because the stories had no variety, causing serious burnout. Adding some Twilight canon and/or characters would liven things up a bit. Then we wouldn't have so many mods developing drug addictions and violent tendencies and wandering off. (Rehab-Legal quip here.)
And the remarkable thing is, several people (including the Post-Hogwarts mod at present) seemed to feel that made perfectly good sense.

It's pouring down in my corner of GA, and Murphy is in heaven! There are giant puddles and mud, so life just cannot get any better. I put him on the leash when I got home from work and took him out to the back part of our lot where the pond-sized puddles are. His little lab self nearly died of happiness.
