"We hope you enjoy your credit experiences."

I can't say the actual act of using my credit card, or the act of running up the debt, or least of all the act of paying it off, is something I would characterize with the word "Enjoy."  This has been your George Carlin moment for the day.

Their acceptance rate is rather less than 1%, but that statistic would include, as spindlewand points out, those submissions written in Klingon.

Good luck! :D

You're totally inspiring me regarding submitting original fiction. I've been looking up publishing options, from literary magazines, to anthology publishers, to publishing companies for novels. So, thanks for that.

"We hope you enjoy your credit experience..."

Eh??!! Does somebody get paid to think such phrases up? You could say something like:

"We hope you enjoy your abdominal surgery." Yep.

I had to re-start a story the other day. I'd written five pages of well-phrased nothing. Woo-hoo. I scrapped it. Didn't even keep it in case it had a nice image or two. Started the whole thing over right where the action began. Much better.

I'm glad you recalled your novella. If they haven't responded in that amount of time, it's not a good sign. Best to send it elsewhere.

I like your "Writing may be a solitary enterprise, but the act of submitting works sometimes takes a village." Sounds startlingly true! And yay for Ichabod! May he wake you up at 3 a.m. until his whole story is written!
