I was wrong about release dates!

Look for "The Bat and the Blitz" at http://www.crossedgenres.com on Aug 1.  Look for "Search Dog Triptych" at Emerald Tales, which is new and still working up the site so I'm not positive of the URL!  But that's supposed, ideally, to be out on Aug 1 as well.  Whether that second story is technically fiction or not, I ( Read more... )

Just pointing out that you want to get a Snap 'n Go, not a carseat, so you can lift the whole thing out of the car without having to take teh frog out of the seat first.

Also, Babies R Us has this thing where within 2 week of your due date they send you out a coupon for 10% off of everything that's left on your registry (even if it wasn't on your registry when they sent out). You have a few months to use it, but you can only use it once. Saves quite a bit of money when you're buying baby stuff the first time around.

(I still haven't gotten my Fisher-Price stuff yet, personally, which is the only reason I'm not suggesting you buy it from me. Also, I think BrU is cheaper).

Target seemed like the sort of place where I could find a few odds and ends that not everyone connects directly to babies, and I was encouraged by a friend, so that's why I've been blithely registering there. I'm still open to suggestions, though. BrU does sound sensible on that 10% off notion. Question is, is 10% off lower than getting it at Target or some such instead?

Mom says the carseat is a Snap-n-go type for toting and carseating and even fitting into a stroller. She's good at that sort of thing. Methinks she's been hoping for a grandchild for quite some time now, in fact.
