Ya know how when you drop a person off you wait and watch that they get in their door okay? You just want to make sure that no one jumps out of the bushes and attacks them just as you drive off? Well, what if someone had broken into their house and attacked them just After they got in the door? You would never know. You would just drive away

And boy am I glad you waited. What if someone had jumper out? I know people who have driven off. And boy, was I not happy with them. It's a good quality to have. Don't lose it.

I do this, but not for safety of the individual, more for convienince. What if they forgot their keys or something? They'd have to walk somewhere or get on their cell phone. I'd feel terrible driving away if someone was locked out for whatever strange reason. As it applies to your realization though, I suppose being locked out would be a blessed annoyance.
