I loved the interaction with Skye and Taylor in this chap. I know it was filler, but it was important character and plot development filler, I think. They were things that had to be said and felt.

I can't wait to see what he says when Mira or Lucas show up to trade for Skye... I hope Lucas is the one to do it, but I think that would show his hand more, in terms of who he's associating with, and how much Skye means to him, as well as give Taylor a chance to capture his son.

Can't wait for more!

Yes this was a bit of a filler in the sense that there was no shippy action, but I did my best to try and move the plot along either way. Glad to see that I can still entertain even when the couple isn't together ;)

And this is the moment where I confess that I already updated the next chapter to ff.net but was too tired to do so in LJ. *ducks and hides*
