Ah, love love love this fic. I mostly leave my reviews on ff but hey, I'm here now so why not. Love this chapter, I personally am fascinated with the sixers lifestyle as it is what I was hoping Terra Nova would be. I love the primitiveness and the wild adventurous nature of it so I'm glad you've taken this route and put Skye in with them. While I love redemption stories I don't think having everyone return and live happy ever after together. After years of (mostly) self efficiency I can't see the sixers assimilating with the tech of Terra nova if everything worked out. I see more of a separate establishment with a truce. But that's just me, I hope your planning on writing the meeting into the next chapter and I can't wait to see what you do with Curran. Can't wait for more. I love your writing style, I'll be sticking with this story as far as you plan on taking it. (Which I hope is pretty far...)
Ps small thing but I believe Mira's head henchman's name is Carter not Carver, but maybe it was just a typo.

I'm pretty fascinated by the Sixers as well, which is probably why I keep incorporating them into the fic so strongly. And yes, I'm having trouble seeing a completely happy ending for everyone as well. There will be redemption, but certainly there will be a price to pay. And everyone's not walking away happily ever after.

The meeting will take place in the next chapter. It kind of sets off the next section of the plot ;) And I have plans for Curran.

Now what really helps is your catch on Carter. Because I know he's called Carter, but apprently my brain doesn't. I just went through my chapters and noticed there are instances where Carter suddenly turns into Carver. This is what you get when you write late at night! Definitely going to fix that, thanks for catching it ;)

Whew! I knew they weren't gonna like... break up or anything, but I'm glad they're doing this sorta awkward dance around each other rather than Lucas getting her out of there and safe, and then totally blowing her off for a while.
