I love the camraderie between Mira, Lucas and Carter here. Showing them as a unit, a team, rather than mercenary individuals. Yes they've all got their own objectives, but they're able to work together.

Also love how Skye is discovering her "acting" ability with relation to spying - how she knows what to say to get a certain effect with a certain person.

Haa, I've always felt that Skye had to have some serious skills to stay undiscovered for three years. Surely she was young and no one suspected her, but sneaking out of Terra Nova couldn't have been that easy. She seems very assertive for her age (whatever her age is supposed to be, she seems closer to 20 than 16 to me, though most of the fandom seems to think she's underage).

And yeah, I love writing Mira & Co. I should probably feature them less since it's a shippy fic, but communication with other characters is healthy imho. This isn't Twilight, people's lives aren't just empty pages when your lover is away... :P

I KNOW! Why does everyone think she's so young?!?!!?

I mean, lets look at the facts.
1. She appears to be about Josh's age, rather than Maddy's (Maddy is 16 - which begs the question, how old is Mark... but thats another debate!)
2. She's got waaaaay to much confidence with guys to be an underage virgin (watch the opening episodes where she's hitting on Josh - she's very self assured in a way most teenagers aren't, very smooth at touching him without making a big deal out of it).
3. She's at an internship, not at school - Maddy is really smart and has only really just started hers. A "normal" student would probably be a year behind.
4. She lives in a flat with friends. You may grow up quickly in Terra Nova, but I doubt you'd be allowed to flat before 17.
5. Since they make moonshine, I don't think they're old enough to drink. Yes Skye has been in the bar, but she wasn't drinking. Also, I don't think they'd let Josh serve unless he was 18 (if we're following the Skye is as old as Josh theory).
