I just heard the new Oasis album.

I was gutted at its awfulness, they all laughed.

Now I feel shit for a million reasons. And I don't even have Oasis to cheer me up.

I don't know, maybe they just ran out of songs, ideas, whatever it is that allowed them to write Rock and Roll Star and Champagne Supernova. I guess it had to happen someday :(

I've only heard Lyla a few times but it sounds like a lot of thudding and shouting. Nothing new. Though I must say, as much as I intend on staying a Coldplay fan (Parachutes is supreme), their new song sounds just like most of their recent stuff. What's happening, I ask you?!
Got any new CD recommendations pour moi?

The last CD I bought was 'Employment' by Kaiser Chiefs, it is a great CD but it gets tiring after a while. You have to leave big gaps in between listens. Have you ever heard the Ordinary Boys? Not sure if it's your thing but check out their 'Over the Counter Culture' album. Kasabian are also good but they're a bit of an Oasis rehash. The only bands really doing it for me right now (apart from the OBs) are unsigned Sheffield bands like Arctic Monkeys, 1984 and Bromhead's Jacket. If you want links to songs let me know xxx
