Laced with Red- is a reference to Roxas' previous dream, when Aeris said that Roxas should dream of something more vibrant. The mun joked that maybe red wasn't Roxas' color- I decided to go with that.
Flames- The blatant symbolization is Axel. Axel was the only one wholly against Roxas leaving- and also the one who fought him in Twilight Town. The dream digs into Roxas' memories; pulling the flames he remembers from their final fight, into a different, but still meaningful location.
Namine's room- Here was where Roxas was told he wasn't meant to exist. Here that he learnt of his fate, and began to believe that he was meant to disappear. This room contains all of Roxas' fears-- in his AU, he refused to let Sora go into the room due to "the place being too old. The floor will break out from underneath you." His subconscious rips him into this room to accentuate his fear and represent his knowledge, despite all ( ... )
