First of all, I totally did a little dance when I saw that it was you who wrote my fic because you're always so brilliant and then I saw it was Jon/Theon and it was double the joy! This is literally the perfect gift.

Theon is a prince and a captive, Jon a Lord’s son and a bastard-both of them too lowly and too proud to speak to the other with anything but bitterness.

This pretty much sums up all the reasons why I ship these two. They're pretty much in the same boat but they can't accept that and it makes them take it out on each other. I love how this whole fic is filled with this building tension between the two of them. And how there are all these little moments where they move closer together and of course, the tipping point is a scar. The build up is always my favorite part of shippy fics and this is just...so very spot on for what kind of relationship I'd want from them.
