i don't tell people what to do. especially when it comes to money. but i'm pleading to everyone to finacially support the victims of the earthquake/tsunami in south east asia. and it doesn't have to be much. one dollar can give a child a blanket or food for the day. give the money you'd use for buying that chocolate bar, or that coffee you get

British Airways has this program where they ask you to donate your left-over change from your vacation...not many people do it usually, and I've only done it once myself, I have to admit. But yesterday, on the flights home, almost everybody returned the little envelopes, filled. It was probably not much more than a dollar per person, but if a whole plane full of people does that, it sums up.

yeah, i've done that too... very handy. but last time i flew, there were a lot of people donating. i think it's a great idea, because here at least they don't really want to exchange small money like pennies and nickles. so i was happy to give it away to them.
