i don't tell people what to do. especially when it comes to money. but i'm pleading to everyone to finacially support the victims of the earthquake/tsunami in south east asia. and it doesn't have to be much. one dollar can give a child a blanket or food for the day. give the money you'd use for buying that chocolate bar, or that coffee you get ( Read more... )

British Airways has this program where they ask you to donate your left-over change from your vacation...not many people do it usually, and I've only done it once myself, I have to admit. But yesterday, on the flights home, almost everybody returned the little envelopes, filled. It was probably not much more than a dollar per person, but if a whole plane full of people does that, it sums up.

yeah, i've done that too... very handy. but last time i flew, there were a lot of people donating. i think it's a great idea, because here at least they don't really want to exchange small money like pennies and nickles. so i was happy to give it away to them.
