I apologize for not commenting on your birthday proper. I hope it was a fabulous birthday, as fabulous as your writing (although I'm terrible and I noticed a typo. I thought about not pointing it out, but I figure that I owe it to you to say I saw one ^^6). I loved the sudden transition from sweet and fluffy, a total WAFF fic, to the evil, dark ending. I almost screamed with frustration because we don't get to see anything but that abrupt end. No details, no whys, no whos, no questions answered. Are you going to write more about these two, or are you going to leave everybody hanging and be every bit as evil as the end of the ficlet? ^_~

That's ok, I posted this pretty late on my brithday (I actually forgot to at first) so I don't mind belated birthday wishings.

Heh, I found that I rather enjoy this style of writing. Letting people figure out their own what and whyfores makes my evil little heart sing with glee (I did the same thing with the ficlet where the lovers kill themselves and it seems I'm rather addicted to it now ^_^) So I might write more on them but it would be early in their relationship and wouldn't answer the question of why James chopped Tyler up into little pieces. Plus Tyler has cute little nieces I wanted to introduce but couldn't find a way to fit them in there...

First things first, so I can get the nitpicking out of me and go on to nicer matters. You wrote, James is left speechless by Tyler hands. I'm almost one hundred percent sure that there needs to be an apostrophe and an S after "Tyler." But you never know. I'm arrogant as all hell about my grammar, though I have no right to be. ^_~ It's enough to get me by as a beta for two people who hardly need my grammar help as it is.

I like having some questions answered and some left to my imagination; when a writer can get a rise from me and make me intensely curious, that's a sign of a good story, a good writer, or both. I think you're a good writer with a good story here - not out of unabashed bias, either, although I do have that. ^_^ I wish we could know about James being a murderer, but eh, nothing really is fair in love or war.
