A man should be upright, not kept upright. uilliam February 19 2008, 23:01:51 UTC
Try working at a lower level.
What should Law Enforcement accomplish?
What is their purpose?
First principles, Clarice. Read Marcus Aurelius. Of each particular thing ask: what is it in itself? What is its nature? What does he do, this man you seek?

law enforcement is meant to enforce law.
okay. that's worthless.
law enforcement is meant to repair breaches in law.
the law body is meant to predict the wounding of social order. that is not law enforcement's job. it is the stop gap after.

interesting.

your interest is valid, but not pertaining to my present train of thought. racial profiling. law enforcement. we'll get to the top eventually. wait till we get there.
the certain folks who get profiled for smoking pot and not the other certain folks who are beating their wives is key. root of the argument... maybe.
that is not a law thing. that is enforcement's thing. that is where i am working.

I pondered law enforcement for a while too. Then I realized I just have a fetish for the uniform, handcuffs, and guns. The paperwork would suck the life right out of my eyes.

Secretly I blame my old job of working in a bondage shop for this.
