i just bought a new iPod classic. I was kind of dying without portable music.. People pay big money for their addictions, you know.

Plus it was effectively $25 off because they offered a giftcard with it at Targay :|

IDK how much iPods cost but I got this ace little sansa (Ges and Rachael recommended it) and it was like $25. It only comes with 8GB of storage but there is a little slit like for camera disks so it is super easy to add another 32GB if you have the chip (and they're like 30bucks). The mp3 player has negative snazzy functions and the version I got doesn't even have a full color screen or video capabilities but it is perfect for just listening to music because it is so little and holds so much.

I will keep this in mind if this thing ever breaks on me. I know nothing of most mp3 players after a decade of iPod haha :C
