So I got a haircut yesterday; I was nervous because it's hard to find people who know what to do with curly hair, but this girl did a pretty decent job IMO! Also, look what I found at a local bookstore:
The book is this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Brothers_Lionheart I really like it so far; thankfully it's full of simple sentences, being a kid's novel... I was kind of worried I'd have to struggle through it
Disease, death, tyranny, betrayal and rebellion are some of the dark themes that permeate the story.
THIS BOOK SOUNDS AWESOME. I like when kiddie books don't censor the nitty-gritty stuff.
Ahaha I'm reading the plot summary. This is so terribly grim. THEY ALL DIE the end. This is like The Giver crossed with the Velveteen Rabbit and Bridge to Terabithia.
YES, it was nice because even if the person I got wasn't super experienced with curly hair (IDK how you find such people that don't 90 bux.. haha), she wasn't in a rush like they always are at the chain haircutters and was open to suggestions haha. A+ would cut again
I KNOW I just, what. I mean it was on the German Amazon site so I'm guessing the site was assuming it was shipping FROM Europe TO the USA? but it's just really confusing because the shipping within Europe was like 3 euros idgi. It was really lucky that the only vendor was in my city!
