Hah!

I find this very funny because I've gotten sick three times in a row at three separate Taco Bell stores--the last three times I ate there. Granted, that's been almost three years ago. What amuses me is that charge that their meat is somehow intrinsically corrupt. Or, could it possibly be that certain places have poor sanitation procedures that infect previously perfectly good meat?

Why are people essentialists about meat? I tried explaining this to every single person at The Fresh Market and noone believed me: the meat is perfectly clean when we open it; it's *YOUR FUCKING HANDS TOUCHING IT* that give it bacteria. If you can take deli meat to a lab and grow cultures on it, it's because the deli you got it from is not properly sanitized. They have cleaner for that.

So no, nothing is wrong with Taco Bell's meat; in fact I remember eating there plenty of times and it was tasty and as nutritious as could be expected for 98 cents.
