I have been on hold for most of the last 3 hours. I am trying to get my car re-registered since my current registration runs out in about 2 weeks. The car has an affidavid of nonuse on it since no one is driving it. It is not insured because no one is driving it. I can take you to the DMV.

And isn't the emission test good for at least a year??? I would say don't worry about it till you get back. Now you know you can do it from there but I bet it will be easier to do when you are physically here.

I think the DMV has an IQ test for hiring. Their employees must be a Paticular kind of stupid to help continue the hell that is the DMV.

Emissions tests only have to be done ever two years, but you only have 90 days from when you get the test done to when you have to use it for registration. That means the one I have now expires in the middle of august.

It's just frustrating. I just wasted a lot of time and calling cards and now it's 3 am and I'm exhausted and ultimately got nothing accomplished.
