In light of getting a new bike in the near future, I'm going to turn my current frame into one of these:

As I take a bike every where already, this will be something of a nice thing to have for longer trips, and for taking things that don't fit in the messenger bag.

The first thing I noticed was how long the chain is. The bike looks very cool and unusual. Maybe post that link in cycling and see if anyone has any experience with it.

yep. it ends up using something like a double chain...

There are a few people at mtbr who have been using them, and i've started to see a couple of them around the san jose area. getting to talk to a couple owners has made me want to get one of them sometime!
