Fall is turning to winter... you can tell from our huge school tree.

Making mochi. With my 5th graders and their parents.
A small group of my 5th grade girls. Aren't they cute?
Aaaaaand a small group of the boys.
Basically, they harvested rice themselves on a field trip as project, and this was a party with their parents to make it into Mochi and give presentations on how they harvested the rice.
I'll post a pic of the finished mochi tomorrow!
