We may be buying our place. Our landlord is considering selling. The condo has been our rental of the past 4 years. She'd prefer to sell to us. It would be affordable (similar to our current rent) and would give us stability and security. And we wouldn't have to move or find another affordable 2 bedroom apartment on Cap Hill in this absurd market.
