Today is Tisha B'Av, the ninth day in the month of Av, which is close enough to August.  Its a minor mourning day in jewish culture.  One of those days that blurs the already indistinct boundries between religion, superstition, and cooincidence.  It is the commemoration fo the destruction of the first & second temples, the explusion of the jews
