How is it that my mother still has the power to make me cry, with just the cruelty in her tone of voice?

I've been able to keep everything else from touching me at some point in my life. But never her.

I just kicked andy out of my room so he wouldn't see me cry. I haven't done that in years.

I lobbied for gay marriage at the RI state house today. It was...surreal, and wonderful and maybe even effective.

We got there and opened the doors into this ( grand hall )

I'm sitting naked in front of my computer right now. Not becaue I'm perfecting my one hand typing skills but because I have not yet mustered the strength to get dressed. Today, so far has been a great day. Despite staying up until ungodly hours (damn you Nic and Justin, I just can't resist your charms) I awoke this mourning ready to go. work, class, TA meeting went well.
