I can't believe she said that.. You've have always been the MOST beautiful womyn I've ever met and I am insanely happy that we're friends.

And for once I can say this. Your dad = ftw {{ for now >.> }}

Tracie your beautiful, hairy or not. Doesn't matter to anyone else as long as you feel beautiful because other people will see it. And we do~

You are beautiful! And no matter where and how much hair you grow makes a difference! You are what you are and that makes you beautiful in so many ways I can´t describe!

YaY for your dad understanding it!

Oh, honey. Your dad is completely awesome in this one. And I get what you're saying about your grandmother. I spent the start of my teenaged years battling my grandmother and mother over wearing a bra. Then it was my refusal to shave my legs. Then it was about cutting my hair off and mom's fear over what that mean for my gender identity. Then it was about going from a relaxer to natural hair. Ironically, the only thing mom seems to have a blindspot about is my facial hair. The rest, though, never fucking stops, and she's still my mom and my rock and it's hard as hell to explain to people sometimes that we love our family members even when we don't necessarily like them much in the moment.

You have every right to live with integrity, and your posts remind me that I do, too.
