wellllll, spencer plays snare in cal band and thus encounters stanford's band at The Big Game and the Battle of the Bands, etc. brendon goes to stanford and is ..drum major? (idk the terminology too well) of their band! he wears face paint and weird outfits and plastic wigs and is always dancing and bouncing around! spencer, of course, is appalled (stanford boo hiss, etc)... but also completely drawn in. he can't stop watching this dancing boy with the fantastic ass and seriously ceaseless energy. he has crushed from afar for years! and now, his last Battle of the Bands, he is determined to say something about it! there's even a drum circle involved. ..=D?
