Is this some sort of solo effort you are thinking of? Sounds hot, btw. How does the bark collar work? Is that just meant as a microphone or does it actually provide any further shock somewhere? Have you any clue how long the battery will last?

I wouldn't worry about keeping the cords themselves out of reach. It provides a safety net, but you're not likely to cut the cords for any reason short of necessity since that isn't easily just re-connected.
