I just watched the episode twice through, back to back. Because I am an SW junkie and I've had zero days of non-SW, non-Davis-y sobriety since falling (and falling HARD) for him on Smallville. (I wear my badge of addiction with pride. XD)

The episode is a bit rough in patches, suffering from that first episode of a new series awkwardness that afflicts nearly all TV shows. Will it grab viewers fast enough before getting lost in the current sea of vampire-werewolf stories? I don’t know. *pouts* But it has a lot of potential….and not very dressed Sam playing a character in SERIOUS need of redemption. Which is enough to hold my attention. That and the swoony, risky way Sam plays those bitey scenes like a guy lost in a haze of carnal lust/satisfaction (the Big "O") and a blood bong high ( ... )

I watched the episode about twelve times by this point. It was for the vidmaking, kay? :p I can already tell my obsession is going to be ridiculous.

From a review I read, the shakycam footage might be a problem. But for my I'm like whut. SAMAIDAN LUV. GIMME.Totally Biased.
I really love the balance they've struck with the dialogue and the character chemistry. I only hope they will avoid filming the campy shots like Rebecca's death scene. Just a wee bit over the top, imo. So far I seem to like the cinematography a wee bit better than the BBC version.

Had quite a few "omg his mouth and his everything agh slowly dying" moments. I'm a fan of the BBC version so its a bit odd to see different people but the three of them work well together. Josh and Aiden are a bitchy gay couple and I love it. Sally kind of irritates me but Annie did too. I'm glad they decided to give Sally and Aiden a little moment because Mitchell and Annie are a big reason why I love the BBC version. I may actually end up really liking this and i'm ok with that.

p.s. the wardrobe dept. loves us, that black shirt is super distracting because it fits really well around the chest and arms and I had to freak out a bit.

p.p.s. tattoo he had on his chest in the beginning scene with Rebecca, didnt notice it at any other time.

I am looking forward to a scene where Josh shassily ends up on Aiden's lap. For a guy with such a high IQ, you know he picked up that tiny kitchen utensil while he got spooked by Ghost!girl just so he could get protected by Aiden's admittedly fine muscles.

No don't hate on Sally my lovelies, that's why God invented threesomes. All joking aside though, what I do love about the fandom in the bbc show (all the fussing they are doing about this version aside) is the way they just love the core cast and there isn't much hate for any of the three. They're all equal opportunity shippers and ship them all to a certain extent because it's a GOOD SHOW that doesn't try and tell you character C- PSYCHOBLABLA. Hopefully fandom will be fun. If not, I will just clingclingcling and ship Aiden with everyone (including me ( ... )

Well, if the fandom grows large enough to be hateful, maybe they can be redirected into a giant LITERAL steamroller of teh ghey (random ridiculous Jerry Falwell reference) to crush all the Being Human US haterz. There is way more slash in the US version. WAYYYY More. Which is one of the many improvements, IMO. It's kinda like...doh...I just got out of this with Smallville. Don't you hate on my pretty. I want to cuddle Jossh/Aiden/Rebecca/Sally. I want Aiden to be in the middle. I ship him with everyone, except possible Marcus.

Uh, I think Aiden's going to be too dark for me. It might be something to do with the blood, and the violence, and the evil, etc. Still, it's nice to know that I am actually in it for the characters, and not just in the throes of a pathetic actor-crush (much) (again).

Okay, I'm still totally in, though. Especially like the cross-dressing. Pretty frock! Please, more pretty frocks! (Have I revealed a kink? Damn, I'm normally so discreet.)

Okay I'll answer a little at a time BIO TEST IS OVA YAY!

Aiden- I can't help it, I still love him. But yeah- like the bbc version he is a bit O-o at the start. Dude's moral code isn't as clear cut as dear delicious Davis's-- and he's not as loveable off the bat, by I enjoy his nuts, he's hot, and his painpainguilt makes me feel bad for him. So in conclusion, he's ambiguous but <3 <3 <3

Anyway- the manfrock is awesome. I think someone should tumblr it with 'out and proud on the bottom'. It would be cute. I also like the wingwinknudgenudge slashy and how cool Aiden is about it. I discover new things all the time. KINKY! MOAR KINKY IS BETTER!

It's just all around a fun show. I am going to delight in posting a ridiculously picspammy reaction post over break and USING THE CLIPS TO MAKE ANGSTYPORNY CHLAVIS YAY. That biting scene was totally full of orgasm film shots. *hides*
