I love this. Chloe loves Davis enough to go low tech for him, maybe even permanently. And he obviously knows she's doing all that huddling over maps as an act of love, because it gets him desperately horny.

And I adore the way he's trying to be a gentleman and live up to her pragmatic approach to being on the run, but he is mostly about the Chloe sexing and the way her mouth is always open. She's like a living assault on his reason, and even with all that, the worst he can think of her is that she's distracting him, but it's all his own fault.

The second paragraph is priceless, when he's desperately trying to find something of interest to stare at, just in case she becomes creeped out all of a sudden by him, where she never has been before. He's looking for cracks in the plaster, cooking and home improvement projects, but mostly he's just trying not to drool too openly.

Too late, Davis, you know Chloe is smarter than that. She knows what you're plotting, and she's in on it.

Groaning to conscious remembrance, he grabbed the hand that came to hold him on his bed. I waaannnttt to see this sooooo baaaadddd. I've got to love Aiden and Josh, Aiden being the only one there to console him.

Aiden would find him about to be destroyed in some kind of shitty werewolf problem, intervene to save him, then stick around with pithy advice that was just ironic coming from a vampire.

'Just act like you're exactly the same as everybody else, Josh,' he said periodically, coaxing his roommate in a new situation. 'You are, you know.'
This is so perfect and uncorny. I guess Aiden's gentle hovereing could get a wee little bit irritating. Especially when Josh is all stressed. Werewolves didn't have close calls; they had fucking razor-thin near misses. Wow.

but I love how Josh now.... he doesn't want sally to be all lonely in his funny werewolf way and Josh pulls the hot sister line and they totally act like kids and bitch about the tv show they'll get to watch.
