the only thing i've learned in school is that you & i are cassandras, shouting our prophecies to ears that can't hear us, beggars door to door with our words and our warnings, see all portions of fate going, dead mistress to doomed king, then come and go again, shouting these signals for nought, the fox to the prince, the hound to the fox, the prince to the hound when it's time to be put down for the sake of a city [troy] crumbling from the onset.

given a life of truth, yet always the liar,
for stepping up to demon deals made to keep us moving foward,

but i know my place is not to stay.

what is a prophetess who cannot persuade?

cassandra is the proof that gods pick and choose
this is the rise and fall of our teeth and truth.
