Against Happiness: In Praise of Melancholy

oh man.. after having read "Against Depression" by Dr Peter Kramer, i am shocked that an English Professor could write a book (clearly in response, seeing the title) that romantically proclaims the wonderful virtues of melancholy. did he even read "Against Depression"? not to mention, his writing is...
