Does anyone know how to set up a "group" in gmail so that when I send out the email all of the addresses do not show for all of the people I am sending to, they just see the group name?

I have set up a group but when I select "compose" it places all the email addresses seperately in the "to" box.

Any advice would be welcome.

Click on the "add bcc" link beneath the "to" box. Put your own email address in the "to" box. Then put all of the other addresses in the "bcc" line. BCC = blind carbon copy.

This way all of your people will only be able to see that you sent the email to yourself - they won't be able to see any of the addresses you typed into the "bcc" line.

Good luck!

See I knew there would be a simple solution. Some days I'm just not that smart! In fact most days I am not that smart! Being prego is probably not helping. Thanks

I heard that you are expecting a baby! Congratulations!!! Do you know if you're having a boy or a girl? When are you due?

How exciting!
