I've been trying to follow this pattern (as written on the RedHeart company website, and I find it very confusing and hard to follow. In part, it seems poorly written to me. So, I thought I'd write it out in a way that makes more sense to me, since I'm figuring it out as I go (reading the pattern and looking at the photos)
Renaissance Beauty Throw Crochet Pattern Start: Ch 5; join with a slip st in first ch to form a ring.
Beginning Cluster (beg cl): [1 cl + 4 sc] * 8 (join with a slip st in top of beg cl)
Three Treble crochet - joined at the top = 1 cluster
*[yarn over] twice, insert hook in ring and pull up a loop, [yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook] 3 times*, repeat from * to *, yarn over and draw through all 4 loops on hook.
Round 2: Ch 1, sc in beg cl; *(2 sc, picot, 2 sc) all in next ch-4 space, sc in next cl, sc; repeat from * to last space
Picot (picot): Ch 4, slip st in 4th ch from hook.
Round 3: *ch 9, skip last 5 sc made, slip st in next sc, ch 1; repeat from * to last space
Round 4: *16 sc in ch-9 loop; sc, sc; repeat from * to last space
...still working on it....
