I've said it before, your Kirk here is so TOS I can almost see him in m head!
Now are you sure that you can put an end on this in one more chapter after all you have had poor Bones go through? he needs lots of cuddling and understanding and reassuring!!!!

Anyway, before I forge, I relaly liked how you pictured the effects of the forced meld, like all his traumas and secrets and harsh memories let loose by the invasion and he without the defences to herd them back to their hiding place. I can very well see how that would make anyone sick, and it's a decription I had never read beofre. Now to the comfort, he surely desrves to have his self esteem back and strenghtened!!!

I'm very optimistic about the next part being the last. There's one scene left, actually. But it'll take a couple of thousand words.

The forced meld fascinates me. I like to picture it this way, because it kind of makes sense.

This is really amazing. It has me standing up from my seat yelling "WON'T SOMEBODY HELP THE POOR MAN!?", but I really can't think of who. Way to keep the suspense up!

That is an interesting idea, that McCoy would think that Kirk is bangin' him in place of Spock. Poor guy, such a low self esteem, but being mind raped would do that to you lol. I'm caring more for Kirk now, though. He seems to be opening up more, but for every step he takes, he takes a few back by reverting to his old, stubborn ways. It's touching to see Spock take such care with McCoy, but in the end even he can't really help him. It has to be Kirk. Uh oh...

There's always a lot of my own impressions going into the stories, and my impression was that Kirk paid a lot more attention to Spock than to Bones, whose existence he often forgot about. Such things always influence my writing and my personal canon.

Kirk's going to get there, though. It just remains to be seen if he'll get there in time.
