Whoa. I'm a bit stunned. I did not in any way whatsoever see that coming. Wow. Such a twisted, fascinating story. I'm feeling sorry for absolutely everyone now, but mostly Jack. He's going to be a wreck when it eventually hits him.

DAMN. I did NOT see that coming, but when it did, it made absolute sense. Poor, poor Jack, doing what had to be done and damning himself in the process.

How i love your fics!that was really brilliant!!
but i just can't figure out why the Doctor didn't regenerate after being shot by Jack,is that because he refused to?
sorry,but it just too fast for me,can't believe that suddenly the Doctor was gone.
poor Doctor and Jack,but maybe this is the best end for them.
Best story i've ever read ^-^ thank you for this.

Yes, the idea is that the Doctor simply chose not to regenerate.
