This is shaping up to be fabulous, as ever. My only lament is that it will only be in two parts, but judging from your other two-parters it might as well be a fifty-part epic from all of the angst, hurt/comfort and just plain, gorgeous Jack/Doctorness that you take us through.
I love this. Everything was unfolding at break neck speed and yet I was just urging Jack to be faster and for the Doctor to be more coherent.
Your OMCs are seemingly on a par with early-John Hart, which is worrying. They are convincing and I am truly worried for our lovely, brave heroes.
On the edge of my seat waiting for more. Thank-you for sharing! xXx

I'm currently writing two auction-fics alternately, so this will be continued once the next chapter of the Merlin story is finished. Which might happen tonight.
I know where this is going, but I'm not sure how dark it will get on the way. Which made rating this a bit hard - the rating might rise in the second part.
I'm glad you like it!

I think I'm going to re-read it now...

Simply brilliant. I loved it!! The pace kept me on an emotional roller coaster till the very end. And, after such an incredible build up, I can't wait to find out what depths of pain, angst and heartache you will put our heros through in the concluding part of this story. You write Jack so incredibly well and your OMCs make chillingly believable villains.
What is it about these darker pieces that make them so addictively enjoyable? Whatever it is, I am hooked.
Thank you for writing and sharing this!

The boys have a quite a bit of drama to survive in the second part. But they're used to that...
