I love Nine Inch Nails. And it's not just the fact that the majority of their music is awesome. It's not just the fact that a number of their songs speak to me in ways that are most likely unhealthy in the extreme. It's not just that fact that Trent Reznor is incredibly talented and intelligent . . . and is built like a god. No. It's also the ( Read more... )

Ooooooh! *ENVIES!* I wanted to get tickets to the Baltimore show, but I lack both time and a ride there. =(

You better have lots of fun in my stead!

I just want to say that they are so awesome for doing this and will be buying my own physical copy soon. Really, other bands could learn a thing or two from this (O HAY METALLICA).

I agree! Only, though, if the album isn't like stanger. I didn't like stanger. And I've been a Metallica fan since forever, too. They were my first concert back in 1992...was it? *is old*

Honestly, when bands do this kind of thing, it actually makes me want to give them my money--especially when it's a band that I like. I've been streaming this album this morning to get a feel for it and I like it. I'm on my second play-through of it and have already found a few songs which will no doubt become stock favorites.

I have to confess, though, I haven't really listened to Metallica since the Black Album, I think. >.> Or maybe it was the one right after that. I can't recall the name. Nothing I've heard by them has really wowed me in recent years. Are their newer albums any good?

No! Stanger (St. Anger) was awful. The other ones after the black album were Load and Reload. They both had decent stuff and they both had crap.

You know, Fuel? Give me fuel give me fire give me that which I desire. It's played at nascar things. lol.
